‘The Loop’ Magazine Launches On TypeEngine Platform

SEATTLE, Wa – 9 May 2013 – iOS-exclusive publishing platform TypeEngine today announced the release of Jim Dalrymple’s The Loop Magazine on Newsstand.  The Loop is the first of 16 TypeEngine magazine apps that will launch this month.

An extension of Dalrymple’s eponymous Website, The Loop Magazine provides comprehensive and insightful news, editorial and commentary on Apple and associated third-party software and accessories, technology & the Internet, music, production, and design. The Loop Magazine features guest writers and longer form articles and stories which are exclusive for the iPhone and iPad.

Tech personality and musician Dalrymple has been following Apple and its products for the last 17 years, first as one of the original members of MacCentral, then at Macworld. He held several positions at Macworld over the 10 years, including his final job as Editor at Large, before leaving in May 2009. Jim’s work has been in many publications including Macworld, PC World, Computerworld, Macworld UK and many others. He’s also appeared as an expert on several television stations including CNN, Fox, CBS and ABC. He continues to do radio show interviews, both Internet-based like Your Mac Life and MacNotables and traditional radio.

The Loop Magazine is available twice a month through a single monthly subscription of $1.99. The first issue contains six articles, excluding a free article that’s available with the app. The Loop Magazine is available globally at launch.
